Track email opens

Email open tracking allows you to see when your prospects open your emails and how many times, so you can strike while the iron is hot!

Plans: Email tracking is available on Business plan.

About tracking email opens

If you enable email open tracking, you will be able to see if a contact has opened an email sent from OnePageCRM.

Please note: If you’re selling your products and services to customers based in the EU, you must ensure that you are fully compliant with the GDPR regulation regarding email tracking. This may involve getting their permission prior to sending emails or tracking email opens.

We’d recommend educating your team on when it’s acceptable to track email opens and when it’s not.

OnePageCRM uses a tracking pixel on outgoing emails to determine if the email has been opened by the recipient. We also show you how many times it has been opened.

We do not collect any other data from the recipients’ browsers or devices. We only collect information relating to whether they opened the email.

If the recipient opened the email, we display the open icon under Emails → Select Open tracking.

When you hover over the view icon, it will show the 10 most recent dates and times that your email has been opened.

You will also see if an email has been opened on the Contacts page → Emails (Scroll to the Activity timeline).

NOTES
  • Open views can often give you a false positive result as it’s not possible to separate opens made by your clients and opens by anti-spam software or opens made by you from your email client. For example, if you send an email to your client from OnePageCRM and you open this email in your email client from your Sent folder, email tracking will record this as an open. This is outside of our control.
