How to set a default field label for contact details

You have the option to set a label for the Phone, Email, URL, and Address fields to help you identify the type of details in these fields, for example, Home, Work, Billing, etc. If you usually work with the same detail types, you can set a default for each field type so that you don't have to change it every time you're adding/ editing a contact.

Open any contact in the CRM → Select the pencil icon to edit the contact.

Open the label dropdown → select Set default.

Select your default field type → Save

Now every time you create a new contact or edit a contact the field label will be set as the default you've chosen. 

Notes:

  • The default label you set in the browser version of OnePageCRM will be set in the OnePageCRM mobile app as well, so when you add/edit contacts in the Mobile app, the default label you've chosen will be set for you.
  • Default labels need to be set for Phone, Email, URL, and Address fields individually.
