How to update contact & organization address in bulk

You can update the address for multiple contacts or organizations in bulk using the Bulk updates bar.

Update contact address in bulk

Select a contact individually by checking the checkbox beside the contact's name or select all contacts using the bulk selector checkbox.

Select More → Advanced updates...

In the Advanced bulk updates pop up, select Contact address from the drop-down and enter the new address you wish to update the selected contacts to.

If content already exists for the selected contacts address fields select either:

Don't apply - then the specific address field will not be updated.
Overwrite it - then the specific address field will be updated with new data from the bulk update.

Click Apply to update the new address to all selected contacts.

Update Organization address in bulk

Select a contact individually by checking the checkbox beside the contact's name or select all contacts using the bulk selector checkbox.

Select More → Advanced updates...

In the Advanced bulk updates pop up, select Organization address from the drop-down and enter the new address you wish to update the selected contacts to.

If content already exists for the selected contacts address fields select either:

Don't apply - then the specific address field will not be updated.
Overwrite it - then the specific address field will be updated with new data from the bulk update.

Click Apply to update the new address to all selected contacts.

NOTES

If you have more contacts than the 'Default number of contacts loaded', and wish to bulk update all of them, you can do so by clicking on the ...all # contacts link in the text displayed at the bottom of the Bulk updates bar.
If a contact is updated as a part of a bulk update, this is not recorded when you run the Last activity filter in Advanced search.
