Action Stream Preferences

The Action Stream preferences allow you to customize your experience and notifications in OnePageCRM.

To set your Action Stream preferences, click on your User/Profile icon (top right-hand corner) → SettingsPreferences tab.

View Contacts in the Action Stream

Some users prefer to manage their customers based on their organization name, while others focus on the individual name. Luckily in OnePageCRM, you get to choose.

On the Settings page under the Action Stream Preferences scroll down to View contacts in my Action Stream as:.

Select what to display first:

  • Contact name (Organization)
  • Organization (Contact name)

Notes:

  • Only the Account owner or Administrators can change how to view contacts on the Action Stream.
  • This update will be visible to all users within the same CRM account.

Set a default number of contacts loaded

Each user can select how many contacts should be loaded on a page that offers a list view.

On the Settings page under the Action Stream Preferences scroll down to Default number of contacts loaded. You can select from the dropdown:

  • 10
  • 25
  • 50
  • 100

Once these contacts have been loaded, click on Show more... at the bottom to load the next batch of contacts in this list.

Note: OnePageCRM also supports an infinite scroll, that will load the next batch of contacts automatically when you reach the bottom of the loaded contact list.

Toggle the slider for Use infinite scroll to enable/disable the feature.

Enable/Disable smart date and time

Each user can enable or disable the smart date and time feature for their Profile. With this feature you can simply type as you think, hit Enter and OnePageCRM will automatically detect terms referring to a date or time for the Next Action you're setting.

On the Settings page under the Action Stream Preferences scroll down to Smart date and time → toggle the slider to enable or disable the feature.

Set a Next Action with smart date and time

Open a contact without a Next Action → Type the Next Action text using natural language → hit Enter on your keyboard.
E.g. "Call Jane at 2 pm on Tuesday".

The calendar flag for the date and time will be automatically set to the time and date you typed in the Next Action blue box.

Note: The date and time text will be truncated from the Next Action text itself.

Enable/Disable and configure the Motivational Targets Widget

The motivational targets widget is great for helping you stay focused on the numbers that will grow the business.

Enable/Disable the Motivational Targets Widget

Each user can configure their own motivational target widget to stay on track for their individual goals.

You can select between:

  • Conversions of Status labels
  • Calls - Number of Call notes created
  • Meetings - Number of Meeting notes created
  • Revenue - by month, quarter or year

On the Settings page under the Action Stream Preferences scroll down to Motivational Targets Widget → toggle the slider to enable or disable the feature.

Notes:

  • Visit the Pipeline page to set revenue targets.
  • Revenue value is taken as your Expected total (i.e. Won + Weighted Pending)

Configure the Motivational Targets Widget

Once the target has been enabled, navigate to your Action Stream page.

Hover your mouse over the widget at the bottom left side of the page and click on the gear icon.

In the Configure targets widget pop-up window you can set targets for:
  • Conversions - From one Status label to another
  • Select the Conversations tab at the top → enter the number you wish to convert and the frequency from the drop-down → select the status change you require to count as a conversion.
    E.g. from Lead to Prospect
    To make conversions your primary target, select the check-box Set conversions as default.

    Click Save.

    Notes:

    • Conversions are defined by changing from one Status to another - you can set these requirements as you please.
    • See here how to add/edit Status labels.
  • Calls - Number of Call notes created
  • Select the Calls tab at the top → enter the number of calls and the frequency from the drop-down.
    To make calls your primary target, select the check-box Set calls as default.

    Click Save.

    Notes:

    • Calls are defined by Call notes created for a contact in the CRM. See here for all the details about Call notes.
    • They can be based on the number of calls per dayweekmonthquarter, or year.
  • Meetings - Number of Meeting notes created
  • Select the Meetings tab at the top → enter the number of meetings and the frequency from the drop-down.
    To make meetings your primary target, select the check-box Set meetings as default.

    Click Save.

    Notes:

    • Meetings are defined by Meeting notes created for a contact in the CRM. See here for all the details about Meeting notes.
    • They can be based on the number of meetings per dayweekmonthquarter, or year.
  • Revenue - by month, quarter or year
  • Select the Revenue tab at the top → select the frequency from the drop-down.
    To make Revenue your primary target, select the check-box Set Revenue as default.

    Click Save.

    Notes:

    • Visit the Pipeline page to set revenue targets.

    Note: To minimize the targets widget, hover your mouse over it and click on the minimize icon to the right of the gear icon.

    Enable/Disable email reminders and mobile notifications

    At OnePageCRM we encourage everyday usage so your sales don’t fall through the cracks. To support you in this you can set your preferences to receive a daily sales action reminder email straight to your inbox or mobile notifications (Android and iOS).


    On the Settings page under the Action Stream Preferences scroll down to Email reminders and mobile notifications → here you can toggle the slider to enable or disable these features.

    • Sales action reminder email - select the time and frequency
    • Sales action reminder mobile notifications - select the time and frequency

    Notes:

    • You can select to receive a reminder every day or every day you have a new task.
    • The selected settings and time will save automatically.
