How to move a contact from one organization to a new or existing one

If a contact moves from one organization to a different one, you can mirror this update in OnePageCRM by changing the name of the organization of the contact.

Open the contact to update → click on the pencil icon to edit.

In the Organization field, enter the new organization name.

Note: If this organization already exists, it will appear as a dropdown below the Organization field ready for you to select it.

If the organization has multiple contacts, you have the option to:

Change the name of organization for all contacts

Move this contact to new or existing organization

To move the contact, select the Move this contact to new or existing organization option.

Click Save.

Notes:

It's not possible to move multiple contacts in one organization to an existing organization. You will need to manually move all contacts individually.
The option to change the name of the organization for all contacts is only available when moving contacts from an existing organization to a new organization (one that does not exist in your OnePageCRM account).
