Sage Accounting

Sage Accounting provides easy-to-use online accounting and online payroll software for start-ups and small businesses.

You can create billing contacts and draft invoices by installing the Sage Accounting integration. The contact information, such as organization, address, work telephone number, and deal information such as date created, due date, description, and amount, will be pushed over to Sage with just one click.

How to Install Sage Accounting

First, ensure that you have an account with Sage Accounting. If you don't already have an account, you can create one here. Then go to your User Profile / Initials (in the top right hand corner) → Select  Apps and Integrations

Go to Sage Accounting under Financial Apps → click Install.

Under Configuration, click on Connect to Sage Accounting.

Select your country or region.
Note: You can only complete the integration if you're connecting a Sage account from one of the following countries.

Login using your Sage Accounting details.

Allow Sage Accounting to Access your OnePageCRM Account.

You have now successfully integrated Sage Accounting with OnePageCRM.

How to create an invoice with Sage Accounting

In OnePageCRM open a contact with a pending or won deal and click on the Sage logo to create a draft invoice

Create an Invoice in Sage pop-up is displayed with pre-populated information. You can edit this information.
Notes: Organization name is shown by default in Contact Name, if no organization is present, First & Last name will be displayed instead.
Created date defaults to the date you're sending the invoice to Sage Accounting.
Due date defaults to 30 days after Created date. (You can edit these dates)

Once reviewed → click Send to Sage.

The invoice has now been created in Sage Accounting. To access the invoice, click on View Invoice under Activity Timeline.

Search or Create a Contact in Sage Accounting

To search for a contact in Sage Accounting, start by typing the first letters of the name. Note: If no contact is found, you can create a new contact by saving your draft Invoice.

NOTES
  • When creating a new billing contact in Sage Accounting, OnePageCRM pushes the following contact details: First and Last name, Organization, Work phone, and Address.
  • Due dates must be scheduled for a date in the future (can't change due date to one in the past). 
  • If the Amount field is blank in the deal, the draft invoice will not be created. 
  • The Sage Accounting integration can be installed and configured by the Account Owner or Administrator only.
