Lost Deals & Reasons Lost

With the Reason Lost feature, every time you mark a deal as Lost in your CRM, you can select the reason for it.

You can also include the breakdown of all the reasons for your team’s lost deals in your Custom Report.

This way, you can identify the most common reasons for lost sales and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Enable/Disable Reason Lost

Go to your User/Profile icon (top right-hand corner) → SettingsCustom Fields tab.

Scroll down to Deal Fields → next to the Reason Lost Custom Field, toggle the slider to enable or disable it.
  • Toggle to green to enable the Reason Lost field
  • Toggle to grey to enable the Reason Lost field

Add/Edit Reason Lost values

Go to your User/Profile icon (top right-hand corner) → SettingsCustom Fields tab.

Scroll down to Deal Fields → next to the Reason Lost Custom Field, click on the pencil icon to add or edit Reason Lost values.

Note: The pencil icon is only clickable if the Reason Lost field is enabled.

To add another option, click on + Add item → Add a new option → click Save.

You can remove a Reason Lost value by clicking on the minus (-) icon.

You can rearrange the values by dragging and dropping them.

Log Reason Lost for a Deal

Once you mark a deal as lost, a pop-up will prompt you to select the Reason Lost → click on the dropdown to select an option → click Save.
