How to use Catalog Items and Bundles

The Catalog features a list of your services and products along with their descriptions and prices. You can quickly use them in your deals, invoices and sales quotes to streamline your process and save time. 

Please note:

  • By default, only Account Owners and Admins can add/edit Deal items to the Catalog. Users have to be given permission to do so, see here.
  • Without enabling this permission, Users can still insert Deal Items to deals.

Manage your Items and Bundles in the Catalog

Catalog is a dedicated page where you can manage your list of services or products which we call Items or Bundles (group of Items). This is where the Items can be added, edited, deleted or grouped into a BundleItems and Bundles can be quickly inserted into a Deal.


To access Items and Bundles, click More → Catalog.

Within the Catalog page select the Items tab → click on Create Item.

Within the Catalog page click on the Items tab and select create item.

Fill out the provided fields → click Save.
  • Item name
  • Description (optional)
  • Cost (optional)
  • Price (optional)
  • Fill in the field for the new item.

    Note: The Description and Price can also be added/edited once the Deal item has been inserted into a Deal. Additionally, you can set a quantity (QTY) for the item. These changes will only apply to this deal. 

    After the deal item has been inserted to a deal, add/edit the description, price and/or quantity.

    Edit/Clone/Delete an Item

    Within the Catalog page select the Items tab.

    By hovering over an a selected Item from the list you can select one of the following options:
  • Pencil icon - Edit the item
  • Clone icon - Duplicate the item, including Name, Description, Cost, Price
  • Bin icon - Delete the item
  • On the catalog page under the Items tab, hover an item to edit it, clone it or delete the saved item.

    Create a Bundle

    A bundle is a group of Items that can be inserted into a deal in one click.

    Within the Catalog page select the Bundles tab → click on Create Bundle.

    On the catalog page, select the bundles tab and click on Create bundle.

    Fill out the provided fields → click Save.
  • Bundle name
  • Description (optional)
  • Fill in the Bundle name and description (optional) and click save.

    Click +Insert Items → select Items you wish to insert to the Bundle → click Insert (# Items).

    Select the items for the bundle by clicking on the checkboxes and click

    Note:

    • The same Item can be added to multiple Bundles giving you the flexibility to offer tailored services to your customers.
    • You can edit or delete these Deal items by hovering over the item and selecting the pencil icon or remove icon.

      If you edit an Item in a bundle, the changes will be applied everywhere this Item is used.

    On the catalog page under the bundles tab, hover over a bundle to edit or delete it.

    Insert an Item or a Bundle into a Deal

    Open a contact and create a new Deal or Edit an existing Deal → Click +Insert Items.

    Insert a deal item or bundle from the catalog to a new or existing deal. Create a new deal and click on

    In the Your Catalog pop-up you can:
  • Create a new Item by clicking Create Item
  • Search for an Item or Bundle by typing its name in the Search bar
  • Insert an existing Item or Bundle to a deal by selecting its checkbox and click Insert (# Items)
  • Select the appropriate items from the list by clicking on the checkbox.

    Once all details have been filled into the deal, click Save. For further details about deals, see here.

    Filter Deal Items

    Once you add your Items to a Deal you can filter for them in various deals.

    On the Action Stream page or Contacts Page, hover over Filters in the left-hand-side menu → click on the plus (+) icon to add a new filter.

    In the Filter pop-up window select Deal Item from the first dropdown → select is or is not → type your Deal Item name.

    Select the plus icon (+) next to filters in the left hand side menu. Select

    Click + Add criteria to combine multiple filter values and once all filter criteria are selected click Run.

    Notes:

    • Items and Bundles are accessible to all users within the account.
    • When exporting deals, inserted Deal Items will be included in the export file.
    • You can use Deal Items with Quick Quotes to build and send sales quotes in seconds.
