Deal Custom Fields

If you require a field in OnePageCRM that does not exist by default, you can create one as a custom field. Next to the Deal Custom Fields, there are 2 other types of custom fields:

How to assign/update Deal Custom Field

There are two options to assign or update a Deal Custom Field.

Create a new Deal

Once you created a Custom Field:

  1. Open your contact.
  2. Click + Deal and fill in the deal fields.
  3. Custom fields are shown directly below the Description field.
  4. Click Save to create the deal.

Edit an existing Deal

Once you created a Custom Field:

  1. Open your contact with an existing deal.
  2. Click on the pencil icon.
  3. Custom fields are shown directly below the Description field.
  4. Click Save to create the deal.

How to view Deal Custom Fields

There are two different ways to view custom fields for deals:

Pending Deal

  1. Open your contact.
  2. Scroll down to the contact deals.
  3. Click Show full deal.
  4. Custom fields are shown directly below the Deal items.

Won Deal

  1. Open your contact.
  2. Scroll down to the contacts Timeline.
  3. Click View full deal details and edit next to the 3 dots menu on the right-hand side.
  4. Custom fields are shown directly below the Deal items.

Add/Edit/Remove the Reason Lost field

With Reason Lost, every time you mark a deal as Lost, you can select the reason for it. You can also include the breakdown of all the reasons for your team’s lost deals in your Custom Report. This way, you can identify the most common factors standing in the way of your sales success and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Enable/Disable Reason Lost

Go to your User/Profile icon (top right-hand corner) → SettingsCustom Fields tab.

Scroll down to Deal Fields → next to the Reason Lost Custom Field, toggle the slider to enable or disable it.
  • Toggle to green to enable the Reason Lost field
  • Toggle to grey to enable the Reason Lost field

    Add/Edit Reason Lost values

    Go to your User/Profile icon (top right-hand corner) → SettingsCustom Fields tab.

    Scroll down to Deal Fields → next to the Reason Lost Custom Field, click on the pencil icon to add or edit Reason Lost values.

    Note: The pencil icon is only clickable if the Reason Lost field is enabled.

    To add another option, click on + Add item → Add a new option → click Save.

    You can remove a Reason Lost value by clicking on the minus (-) icon.

    Note: You can rearrange the values by dragging and dropping them.

    Log Reason Lost for a deal

    Once you mark a deal as lost, a pop-up will prompt you to select the Reason Lost → click on the dropdown to select an option → click Save.
