Delete contacts manually or in bulk

To keep your contacts list clean and up to date, you have the option to delete contacts individually or in bulk.

By default, only Account owners and Administrators can delete contacts.

However, users can be given access to this permission if required. See here for more info.

Open the contact and click on the more options icon (three dots) → Delete contact.

Here's another way to delete contacts individually:

Open the contact you want to delete → Edit.

Scroll to the bottom of the Contact info page → Delete contact.

Confirm by clicking on Delete in the pop-up window.

How to delete CRM contacts in bulk

Select the appropriate contacts or organizations from any list view within the CRM → in the bulk update menu at the top → click on the bin icon.

If you have more contacts than the default number of contacts loaded in your settings, and you want to bulk update all of them, you can do so by clicking on the Select: all # contacts in filter link in the text that appears at the bottom of the bulk update menu.

To undo the deletion of a contact, go to the Activity page → find the activity and select Undo delete. You only have 24 hours to use the undo option.
